Precise, clear, and creative typesetting is essential for ensuring that a book looks professional, ensures readability, and follows industry standards.
I have extensively typeset poetry, fiction, and non-fiction in various roles: as part of my position as lead editor at an independent publishing house, for non-profits, in my previous work in an art collective — and for fun.
I am experienced with Adobe InDesign and LaTeX and I can use the tools the text requires.
I pride myself on meticulousness, and I am happy to collaborate with authors, editors, and publishers on all aspects of the process, from font selection to final layout. Typesetting-specific tasks, such as removing widows and orphans, will be covered.
I am happy to work with people across the publishing landscape, including self-published authors and established publishing houses.
